Soft luggage is compulsory for all flights to/from Denis, Desroches, Alphonse. All guests visiting islands are requested to pack a ‘week-end bag’ separate from their main luggage as space is limited in the aircraft. Excess baggage may not be permitted on the flights. Secure left luggage facilities are available at the International Airport for locked luggage.
Excess baggage:
A charge of Euro 5 per kilo is applicable. Excess luggage is subject to space availability on the aircraft. Pleasenote that BIRD ISLAND FLIGHTS DO NOT ACCEPT any excess luggage. For all flights to/from Mahe/Praslin the free baggage allowance is 20 kgs and the excess luggage charge is Euro 1 per kilo.
